"Thirty years ago I bought my first sewing machine, a Singer Redeye treadle. I remember the sound of the treadle filling the house as I worked on dresses in my free time. Back then, sewing was a hobby and I made dresses for myself to complement the rest of my wardrobe. My designs were initially based on dresses I already owned but with time I started coming up with my own unique designs. I soon began to get requests for dresses from friends and family as they admired the quality and uniqueness of my designs. Over time I honed the craft and my daughter also caught the dress-making bug. We made clothes for ourselves for all occasions (casual as well as formal) and continued to fulfill requests for dresses from our friends. And yes, we traded the Singer Redeye treadle sewing machine for more modern options."
